What we review

Hub scan walkthrough

A half-day on the sort floor watching inbound, outbound, and exception scans, followed by a short note on stations that parcels pass without a scan.

From RM 2,800 · Half-day on site, note within three working days

A scan that exists in the app and a scan that happened at the station are not always the same event. Standing at inbound for two hours makes the difference visible: bags dumped, labels folded, a handheld left on a crate.

The walkthrough is deliberately short. It is for hubs that want a dated note from someone who was actually on the floor, not a month-long engagement.

Who it is for

Hub supervisors who know some bags skip a scan at peak, and owners who want a visitor’s eye before they change a belt layout or a shift start.

What you leave with

A floor note with a simple path diagram of the stations we watched, the skips we saw, and the times of day they clustered.

Scope

One hub, one shift (day sort or night sort). We watch; we do not scan.

Included

  • Safety briefing with your floor lead
  • Observation at inbound, outbound, and the exception cage
  • A short floor note within three working days

Not included

  • Redesigning the belt
  • Handheld configuration
  • Staff appraisals

Who does the work

Farah Ismail or Lim Wei Han, in high-visibility vests, working under your floor rules.

How the work runs

  1. Agree the shift and the stations.
  2. Arrive for the briefing, watch the agreed window, stay out of the walking lanes.
  3. Write the floor note from what we saw, not from what the app later shows.

Place and delivery

Your hub. We currently take walkthroughs across the Klang Valley from our Puchong desk.

What to prepare

A floor lead for the briefing, visitor parking or a drop-off point, and a clear rule on where we may stand. No network access is required.

Constraints

We will leave the floor if a safety rule is unclear. Night sort needs prior written agreement from the hub manager.

Fees

From RM 2,800 for a half-day day-sort watch at one Klang Valley hub. Night sort is quoted separately because of hours and transport.

Next step

Propose a shift date. We will confirm within two working days if that window is free.
